Finally, the Chinese-Russian fantasy film The Mystery of the Dragon Seal: Journey to China, starring Jackie Chan and Arnold Schwarzenegger, is set to hit theaters.
The filming of the film, directed by Russian filmmaker Oleg Stepchenko, finally ended in Beijing in February 2012 after filming scenes in Britain, Russia and China. But due to differences between its suppliers, it remained in the post-production phase for two years.
However, the producers of the film last week announced the release of the film on August 7 in China and Russia. No date has been set for its release in the United States.

The story of this new film is the continuation of Stepchenko’s previous film Year 2, The Forbidden Empire (known as “The One”), a free adaptation of the horror novel by Russian author Nikolai Gogol.
